Connecting AI to the business tools you already use — what's possible, what's complex, and how to get it right.
AI that lives in isolation from your business systems has limited value. The real power of AI comes when it's connected to your data, processes and tools — reading from your CRM, writing to your ERP, triggering actions in your workflow tools. This is AI integration, and it's both more achievable and more complex than most businesses realise.
Most modern business software has APIs — programmatic interfaces that allow other systems to read and write data. AI systems connect to these APIs to pull data for analysis, push results back, and trigger actions. CRMs like Salesforce and HubSpot, accounting tools like Xero and MYOB, and project management tools like Jira and Asana all have well-documented APIs.
For systems that expose their database directly (more common in on-premises enterprise software), AI can connect directly to read operational data. This requires careful security configuration but is often the most direct integration path for older systems.
Some integrations work through file exchange — AI processes documents dropped in a folder or sent via email, and returns structured data or actions. Simpler to implement than API integration, but less real-time.
Robotic Process Automation can bridge AI to systems with no API — interacting with the software UI the way a human would. Higher maintenance than API integration but sometimes the only option for legacy systems.
We always start integration projects with a thorough assessment of the target systems — their APIs, data models, authentication requirements and any known limitations. Surprises in integration are expensive. Discovery upfront is the best investment you can make.
We deploy commercially available AI products. We don't build bespoke AI, and we don't run standalone training workshops.
A structured planning engagement producing a prioritised 12–24 month roadmap of commercial AI products to adopt, in what order, at what cost, and with what expected outcomes.
Our core service. We select, deploy, configure, and integrate commercially available AI products — Microsoft 365 Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude for Business, Gemini, Salesforce and HubSpot AI features — into your existing systems. We do not build custom AI.
Workflow automation using commercial platforms — Zapier, Make, n8n, Power Automate — often with AI steps included. Scoped, built, tested, and handed over with documentation.
